Buildings and Grounds Technician L2 – Mountain Creek

About Mountain Creek:
Mountain Creek, a four-season resort, offering skiing/snowboarding, bike park, waterpark, weddings, mountain coaster, restaurants and lodge.
How the Buildings and Grounds Technician works with the Team:
Responsible for day-to-day general maintenance of the resort, including but not limited to plumbing, electric, carpentry, and troubleshooting all systems.
Team Member Responsibilities:
- Perform day to day general maintenance and repairs. (plumbing, electric, carpentry)
- Maintain a safe working environment and practice a safe work philosophy
- Work in all types of weather when needed
- Work efficiently to accomplish department goals
- Inspecting and maintaining electrical systems
- Troubleshooting pumps and motors
- Adheres to all safety regulations, local, state and federal codes
- Ability to lift in excess of 50lbs on an occasional basis

- Be available for after hours contact in the event of facility-oriented emergency
- Be able to interact with other departments to accomplish resort objectives
- Complete projects without direct supervision
- Fix or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, and transformers.
- Diagnose electrical problems using testing devices like multimeters and voltmeters.
- Experience climbing telephone poles helpful
- Make recommendations to address structural maintenance issues

- High School diploma required
- Must have valid driver license
- Be able to read and interpret instructions and manuals

- Trade school or 5 years work experience in the field
- Be able to work flexible schedule and overtime when needed
- Must be 18 or older
