The Utah Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks, has two seasonal positions (no benefits) available at Snow Canyon State Park in Ivins, Utah. This appointment will begin approximately September 15, 2026 and continue through June 15, 2027. The position involves working weekdays, weekends and/or holidays approximately 25 hours/week. Housing is not provided.
Examples of Duties
Staff entrance stations and collect park fees; distribute park brochures and information to the general public; answer visitor’s questions and help them discover the park’s resources and how to enjoy them appropriately; perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements and Skills
Experience with handling money, working with cash registers/computers, interacting with the public and public speaking. Ability to follow both oral and written instructions. Ability to work well with other staff members and the visiting public. Ability to work in a desert environment and stand for extended periods of time.
