JOB TITLE: Mammography Coordinator (
BREAST COORDINATOR/IMAGING SCHEDULER)
POSITION SUMMARY: Snoqualmie Valley Health is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Breast Coordinator to support our growing Mammography and Diagnostic Imaging services. This role plays a critical part in ensuring patients receive timely follow-up care, supporting compliance with regulatory standards, and facilitating smooth imaging workflow. The Breast Coordinator will also assist with scheduling and clerical functions, retrieve and manage prior imaging, and help maintain documentation in EPIC and PACS systems in support of quality care and MQSA compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Care Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for breast imaging follow-up care, ensuring patients receive recommended exams and timely communications.
- Prior Imaging Management: Retrieve, upload, and reconcile outside imaging studies into PACS and link appropriately within EPIC.

- Regulatory Documentation: Enter and maintain accurate data in EPICs mammography module, supporting documentation required for MQSA and ACR compliance.
- Compliance & Tracking: Maintain tracking logs for patients with incomplete or BI-RADS 3/4/5 findings, following up per established protocols.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in maintaining high standards of patient care and data accuracy, contributing to departmental audits and accreditation readiness.
Lead Innovation: We lead with creativity, agility and think bold in our approach.
- Scheduling Support: Assist with scheduling mammography and diagnostic imaging exams in coordination with patients, providers, and imaging technologists.
- Other Duties: Perform additional clerical or operational duties as assigned to support departmental efficiency and excellence.
Deepen Connections: We build strong relationships with our patients, their families and partners in the communities we serve.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Mammography Technologists, Radiologists, Providers, and administrative staff to support smooth patient flow and communication.
- Patient Support: Provide compassionate and professional communication to patients during follow-up and coordination processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
- 12 years of experience in a healthcare, imaging, or care coordination setting
- Prior experience with PACS and EPIC systems
- Familiarity with MQSA and ACR standards
- Medical Assistant, CNA, or Radiology background a plus
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems (preferably EPIC)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage sensitive health information with discretion and HIPAA compliance
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Office and clinical settings with potential exposure to patient care areas.
- Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- May require occasional travel between facility locations.

Benefit Eligibility Requirements - Employees regularly scheduled at least 20 hours per week.
Employee Dependents - Your legal spouse or domestic partner; dependent children until age 26.
