Job Summary: The Student Information Systems (SIS) Specialist ensures the Snohomish School District’s SIS operates reliably and effectively across all schools, managing technical issues, system updates, and day-to-day operations. This role ensures accurate, complete, and consistent student information, manages security roles and user access, monitors and updates codes throughout the SIS, and oversees system configurations. In addition, the Specialist strategically interfaces with third-party platforms, ensuring the SIS integrates effectively with other educational technology systems. The role includes developing and maintaining documentation, implementing standard operating procedures, and providing guidance, support, and training to staff to promote accurate and efficient system use. This is a technical and strategic position that combines system administration, data management, compliance, reporting, and staff support. Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job descriptions.
Salary Range: $38.54 - $43.27/hour Level G Office Personnel per 2025-26 Public School Employees Salary Schedule.
Work Year: 8.00 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 12 months/year.
