JOB TITLE: Teen Coordinator
LOCATION: Sultan, WA
REPORTS TO: Unit Director
SCHEDULE: Part-time, hours between 6 AM and 6 PM, occasional Friday nights needed from 6PM to 9PM
JOB SUMMARY

The Teen Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of a variety of age-appropriate programs and activities that lead to three priority outcomes for teen youth at our Sultan Club: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character & Citizenship. The Teen Coordinator works with teens grades 6-12 and creates an environment that is safe and fun, and helps members build confidence and skills. The Teen Coordinator also helps plan and participates in special programs, including teen nights and/or Club sponsored events.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans and implements activities for teen youth that give them a sense of belonging, usefulness, influence, and competence, utilizing existing curriculum from Boys & Girls Clubs of America in addition to local initiatives.
- Manages program supplies and equipment.
- Maintains organization and cleanliness of the teen program area.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to remain poised, positive, and energetic in a busy work environment.
- Ability to incorporate organizational values of Fun, Respect, Integrity, Community, and Acceptance into all practices.
- Prior experience working with youth is preferred.
- Ability to motivate youth and address behavioral problems
