What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Team Member position at Sno Cap (in Sisters only)?
SnoCap Drive In is a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant known for its iconic hamburgers, homemade ice cream, and friendly service. Our team handles busy rushes daily while keeping service organized, accurate, and welcoming for every guest. We are looking for dependable, hardworking FOH team members who can stay positive under pressure, communicate well, and help create a smooth experience for our high volume of guests. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, multitasking, and being part of a high-energy environment. Communication and teamwork is a must! We offer a tip pool, both cash and credit card. We also offer a free shift meal & ice cream, and full time employees qualify for medical and dental benefits after 90 days of employment!
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide friendly, efficient customer service
- Take accurate food and drink orders
- Operate the POS system and handle cash/card transactions
- Maintain speed and accuracy during high-volume rushes
- Prepare drinks, shakes, sundaes, and front counter items
- Keep dining areas, counters, condiment stations, and beverage areas clean and stocked
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff, coworkers, and guests during busy periods
- Handle guest concerns professionally and calmly
- Restock supplies throughout shifts
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Help maintain a positive and team-oriented work environment
Requirements:
- 14 yrs or older
- Valid OR Food Handlers Card
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Positive attitude and willingness to help the team
- Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50lbs
- Weekend and evening availability preferred
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but not required, we are willing to train the right individuals.

Pay: $15.05 - $17.00 per hour
