Duties
- Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools to maintain lawns and gardens efficiently.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees; pruning and trimming; and installing mulch or decorative stones.
- Maintain hardscape features such as pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe.
- Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote healthy growth.
Experience
- Previous experience with lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with horticulture principles or gardening practices is a plus.
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming and health assessment enhances your suitability for this role.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards is essential.
