The TRACS Technician is responsible for the safety, efficiency, and completion of any day-to-day warehouse tasks. This includes mount/dismount area, shipping/receiving, paint/wheel reconditioning, as well as organization of stock and customer retread area tires.
What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
- Mount and dismount various sized commercial tires, utilizing the mount/dismount machine, T45A Tire Iron/Spoon Bar, and/or the “Golden Tool.”
- Accurately load and unload all tire shipments and assist with completion of paperwork.
- Assist with the efficiency and flow of warehouse inventory.
- Assist with all monthly inventory audits.
- Ensure warehouse space is utilized efficiently.
- Accurately identify and enter casing information into BIB Tread Mobile device (BTM), as well as properly tag client’s tires and wheels.
- Properly and safely sandblast, powder coat paint, and cure customer wheels.
- Assist with the scrap out analysis process for Snider customers.
- Assist with reconditioned wheel shipments that are outbound to Snider locations.
- Assist with counting and reconciling monthly retread inventory.
- May be required to assist route driver with customer pickups and deliveries.
- Responsible for the overall organization, inventory, and cleanliness of warehouse.
- Follow all safety rules, wear proper PPE, and demonstrate safety conscious mindset.
- Demonstrate excellent attendance, show up to work on time and in the correct uniform.
- Adheres to all policies, procedures, and values of Snider Fleet Solutions.
Our Ideal Candidate
Education or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in similar role or industry is a plus.
- Forklift certification, obtained after employment.
- Commercial TIA certification preferred.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
- Safety conscious at all times.
- Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Coachable, hardworking, and possess general mechanical aptitude.
- Must have strong time management skills, as well as close attention to detail.
- Reliable and dependable with self-initiative.
- Ability to complete all tasks assigned, properly with little to no follow-up.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
- Ability to learn and operate provided service equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to work a rotating, on-call schedule, including nights and weekend shifts.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer and/or smart phone skills.
