Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial, residential, and industrial spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established cleaning protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in warehouse setting, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Execute floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing surfaces to maintain their appearance.
- Conduct custodial responsibilities such as trash removal, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfection.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall cleanliness and functionality of the space.
- Carry out industrial cleaning duties in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Provide porter services by ensuring common areas are tidy and organized for optimal use by occupants.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment needs to management.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing is a plus.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of safe handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment is essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
