Network Specialist
Position Summary
The Network Specialist is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and securing the clients network infrastructure. Reporting to the Manager of Cyber Security and Network Operations, this role focuses on network administration, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and infrastructure improvements across LAN, WAN, wireless, and security environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and other network equipment.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and security issues.
- Support network upgrades, implementations, and infrastructure projects.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, security monitoring, and remediation activities.
- Assist with incident response, intrusion detection, and network security initiatives.
- Maintain network documentation, standards, and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to support organizational technology needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of network administration and support experience.
- Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies and Fortinet firewalls.
- Experience with network security, vulnerability management, and performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN, wireless networking, routing, switching, VPNs, and network troubleshooting.

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
