Cisco UCS Systems/Server Engineer (Contract - Onsite)

Location: Ponte Vedra Beach, FL

Rate: $65/hr-$85/hr. or so (negotiable)


We are seeking an experienced Cisco UCS / Systems Engineer to support a recovery project after a UCS host failure.This consultant will assist onsite with hardware replacement, RAID rebuild, and full system restoration once parts arrive.

Responsibilities

• Replace and configure UCS hardware components
  
• Rebuild RAID and assist with drive/data recovery
  
• Restore service profiles, firmware, and UCS Manager settings
  
• Validate server and virtualization platform functionality
  
• Provide expertise throughout the rebuild and recovery process
  

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco UCS (blades, chassis, fabric interconnects)
  
• Proven server hardware and RAID troubleshooting/rebuild background
  
• Able to work independently in a recovery scenario
  
• Prior experience with datacenter/server rebuilds highly preferred
