A growing technical services organization is seeking a Biomedical Field Service Technician to join its team in Tampa, FL. This is a full-time, hybrid and traveling role focused on supporting the operation of critical healthcare and laboratory equipment.
Location: Tampa - traveling within assigned region
Job Type: Full time direct
Pay: $55,000 annually plus a $500 monthly car stipend and company card for gas and tolls.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of medical and laboratory devices.
- Install new equipment and ensure all systems are compliant with applicable electrical safety guidelines.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintain accurate service documentation.
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers, offering guidance and training on equipment usage and care.
- Deliver timely and effective technical support while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
- Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and repair, ideally in clinical or biomedical environments.
- Familiarity with diagnostic, laboratory, or medical devices.
- Solid understanding of electrical safety practices and protocols.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel locally as needed.
- Industry certifications (such as CBET) and prior healthcare-related experience are highly desirable.
