Hybrid Schedule: 2 days in office / 3 days remote
Compensation: $95,000–$110,000 base 10% bonus
Our client, a large, rapidly growing national services company, is expanding its Accounting Architecture & Automation team and seeking a Senior Automation Accounting Analyst. What You’ll Do
- Partner with accounting and finance teams (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Tax, Reporting, etc.) to identify automation and efficiency opportunities.
- Design, develop, and implement automation tools and dashboards using Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Query.
- Build reporting dashboards that transform data into actionable business insights.
- Document workflows, conduct user acceptance testing, and lead end-user training.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation solutions to ensure scalability and performance.
- Promote best practices in process design, controls, and data integrity across finance functions.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Science, or Business Analytics
- 2–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or business analytics with a focus on process improvement or automation
- Proficiency with Excel (advanced formulas, modeling, and reporting)
- Power BI experience strongly preferred (dashboard creation a plus)
- Exposure to SQL and/or Power Automate
- Coding experience in Python, VBA, or similar languages a plus
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and drive automation from concept to completion
