Registered Nurse RN Infection Control/Staff Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Registered Nurse Infection Control/Staff Educator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.

RN Infection Control/Staff Educator Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff

• Conduct staff education sessions on infection control and prevention, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with the infection control team to identify and address potential infection control breaches

• Develop and maintain necessary records and reports related to infection control and prevention

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and reduce risk of infection

• Provide guidance and support to staff on infection control best practices

RN Infection Control/Staff Educator Requirements:

• Current RN license to practice in the state of New York

• Prior experience in a long-term care or sub-acute care setting

• Strong knowledge of infection control principles and practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
