Position Summary – Certified Dietary Manager

The Certified Dietary Manager is responsible for the overall management of dietary services, ensuring high‑quality nutritional care for residents while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. The Certified Dietary Manager will oversee food service operations, staff supervision, menu planning, and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities – Certified Dietary Manager

• Manage all aspects of dietary services in a skilled nursing facility

• Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and local dietary regulations

• Plan and oversee nutritionally balanced menus tailored to resident needs

• Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff

• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards

• Collaborate with nursing, clinical, and administrative teams

• Monitor budgets, food costs, and inventory controls

• Ensure resident satisfaction and quality dining experiences

Qualifications – Certified Dietary Manager

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential is REQUIRED

• Prior experience as a Dietary Manager in a skilled nursing or long‑term care setting strongly preferred

• Knowledge of healthcare dietary regulations and surveys

• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills

• Ability to manage staff and operations in a fast‑paced environment
