Position Summary
The Resident Care Ambassador plays an important role in creating a welcoming, supportive, and resident-centered environment within the facility. This position focuses on helping residents adjust comfortably to their new home, building meaningful relationships with residents and families, and ensuring that resident needs and concerns are addressed promptly.
Through daily rounding and proactive communication, the Resident Care Ambassador helps strengthen the connection between residents, families, and the care team while promoting a positive living experience for all residents.

Key Responsibilities
Resident Rounding and Engagement
Conduct daily rounds throughout the facility to meet with residents and ensure they are comfortable, supported, and satisfied with their living environment.
Assist residents as they adjust to the facility and help them feel welcomed and connected.
Build positive relationships with residents through friendly interaction and attentive listening.
Identify resident needs or concerns and ensure they are communicated to the appropriate department.
Admissions Support and Resident Adjustment
Work closely with the admissions team to help welcome new residents and families to the facility.
Ensure resident rooms are prepared and ready prior to new admissions.
Assist new residents in becoming familiar with the facility and available services to help ease the transition into their new home.
Family Communication
Serve as a friendly and approachable contact for families and visitors.
Communicate with families regarding resident comfort, general concerns, and non-clinical requests.
Help ensure families feel informed, welcomed, and confident in the care environment.
Room Readiness and Environment
Conduct rounds to help ensure resident rooms are clean, organized, and comfortable.
Identify concerns related to housekeeping, maintenance, or room setup and communicate them promptly for resolution.
Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for residents and visitors.
Interdepartmental Collaboration
Work closely with nursing, housekeeping, maintenance, dietary, activities, and administration to address resident needs.
Ensure resident requests and concerns are communicated and followed through in a timely manner.
Resident Experience
Promote a culture of warmth, hospitality, and responsiveness throughout the facility.
Support initiatives that enhance resident satisfaction and quality of life.
Qualifications
Excellent social and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with residents and families.
