Heavy Equipment Operator / Site Superintendent

We are urgently hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator / Site Superintendent with strong finish grading experience. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable operating equipment while also leading a small crew and keeping jobsite operations on track.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including dozers, track hoes/excavators, and mini excavators
• Perform finish grading, site preparation, and earthwork
• Supervise and direct a crew of up to 5 employees
• Coordinate daily jobsite activities and assign work
• Monitor quality, productivity, and project progress
• Ensure work is completed safely and according to project requirements
• Communicate with management regarding scheduling, materials, and jobsite needs
• Help maintain equipment and promote a safe work environment

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment operating experience
• Strong experience with dozers, excavators/track hoes, and mini excavators
• Finish grading experience required
• Previous foreman, superintendent, or crew leadership experience preferred
• Ability to supervise a small crew
• Valid driver’s license
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
