SNELLING is currently recruiting for an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in the East Texas area with a pay range of $22–26/hr. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with occasional on-call needs for vendor coordination or emergency repairs.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on manufacturing equipment, serving as the main point of contact when outside vendors are needed for more complex issues. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, reliability, and the ability to work independently while also collaborating with a helper/facilities person when extra hands are needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing machinery including pneumatic punches, plasma tables, and welding equipment.
- Serve as primary on-site contact for vendor-led repairs.
- Coordinate with the Facilities Maintenance helper for assistance on larger projects.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Use personal tools to complete repairs (candidate should have their own basic toolset).
- Experience in industrial maintenance and repair within a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with pneumatic systems, welding equipment, and CNC/plasma machinery.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently.
- Strong work history with good tenure and verifiable references.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Own basic hand and power tools.
