Sr. Staff Accountant

Our client, a well-established CPA firm, is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant with at least 5 years of public accounting experience. While a CPA is preferred, it’s not mandatory if the candidate has strong technical skills. The role focuses on compilation, review, and audit engagements along with financial statement preparation for closely held businesses in sectors like commercial real estate, construction, manufacturing, and distribution.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing workpapers and assisting with audit procedures
• Preparing financials for reviews and compilations
• Contributing to federal and state tax returns
• Managing project timelines and supervising staff as needed
• Supporting clients with planning and projections

Ideal candidates will have:

• Solid accounting and audit experience 
• Familiarity with CCH Engagement and ProSystem fx
• The ability to juggle multiple engagements and meet deadlines
• Background working with multi-state clients and private partnerships
