2nd/3rd Shift Process Technician

Snelling Staffing has an immediate opening for a 2nd or 3rd shift Process Technician for a Plastics Manufacturer in Vicksburg, MI.  This position is responsible for setting tools, starting presses, answering operator call lights, and making sure each job is properly set-up before the production run begins.  The Lead Process Technician should also possess the ability to fill in as a backup supervisor when and if needed, acting responsibly for efficiencies, professional conduct and safety of team members.

Position Type: Temp to Hire
Schedule: 2 pm to 11 pm, Monday through Friday
                10 pm to 7 am, Monday through Friday
*Occasional Overtime may be required
Pay Rate: $18-$20/hour

Process Technician Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all company policies
• Perform Daily Audits
• Ensures machine efficiency and shift utilization by promptly setting and processing molds
• Maintains proper operation methods, processing, communication, documentation and defect identification
• Complies with all safety guidelines associated with duties including machine lockout, use of a ladder for mounting machine and other applicable MIOSHA standards.
