We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Order Fulfillment & Order Processing Specialist. This position will primarily be responsible for pulling and preparing customer orders, but the ideal candidate must also be highly computer capable and able to assist with order processing when needed.
This is a flexible, cross-trained position that requires someone who can move comfortably between hands-on order fulfillment and computer-based order processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pull products for customer orders.
- Double-check product numbers, quantities, and order notes before completing orders.
- Use company computer systems to look up orders, products, inventory, and customer information.
- Step into the Order Processor role when coverage or additional assistance is needed.
- Review and work backordered orders and items.
- Research and resolve Unable to Ship orders.
- Identify why an order cannot be completed and determine the appropriate next steps.
- Communicate with the appropriate team members regarding inventory shortages, product issues, and other order problems.
- Update order information and notes accurately in the system.
- Follow up on problem orders to help prevent them from sitting without action.
- Assist with other order fulfillment and processing duties as needed.
