Licensed Gate Attendant-Security

Snelling is currently seeking a professional and dependable Licensed Gate Attendant (Security) to support site security and access control. This position is responsible for monitoring the main entry point, verifying credentials, and maintaining accurate records of personnel and vehicles entering and leaving the job site.

Pay: $16.00-18.00/hr, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday-Wednesday Crew, 6:00 am-6:00 pm OR Thursday-Saturday Crew, 6:00 am-6:00 pm

Responsibilities of Licensed Gate Attendant (Security):

• Monitor and manage site entry points to ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles enter the property.

• Verify badges, credentials, and approved entry lists for employees, vendors, contractors, and visitors.

• Maintain accurate daily records of personnel and vehicle entry and exit.

• Communicate with supervisors regarding unauthorized access attempts or security concerns.

• Provide a professional and courteous presence while interacting with employees, vendors, and visitors.

• Follow all site security, safety, and access-control procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional gate area.

• Manage traffic control

• Spraying off trucks or vehicles as they exit the premises.

Qualifications Required of Licensed Gate Attendant (Security):

• Must have a valid Guard/Security Officer License.

• Previous security, gate attendant, access control, or customer service experience.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately maintain records.

• Professional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

• Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift.

• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

• Ability to follow instructions and established security procedures.
