Snelling Staffing has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Collections position for a Credit Union local to the Baton Rouge area. This will be a full-time, long-term position.Pay: $17.50 per hourHours: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PMEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Able to make 100-120 calls per day to collect payments (main priority)Payments are timely and accurately applied to proper accounts.Past due amounts are identified monthly and actively pursued for payment.Contact members and co-signers with delinquent account by telephone, email, and text in an attempt to collect the amount due.Negotiate a payment plan to recover outstanding payments.Assist members with processing of on-time payments.Maintain and document notes files in a detailed manner.Locate members that the office has lost contact and get them to provide payments on their loans.Serve as liaison with agencies in handling repossession of collateralRetrieve, sort, and process mail to include impound notices and return mailMaintain Bankruptcy Trustee log, bankruptcy log, and preparation of documents for filing of Proof of Claims and Reaffirmation Agreements.Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.Exceptional Customer Service Skills and strong phone presence.Properly handle cash-flow.Experience in Collections and High Call Volumes is REQUIRED!!!Interested and qualified candidates should submit their resume for immediate consideration.
