The Warranty Clerk is responsible for processing warranty claims for automotive repairs and services in accordance with manufacturer policies and guidelines. They play a key role in maintaining accurate records, communicating with customers, technicians, and manufacturers to resolve warranty issues promptly and efficiently.

- Entails knowledge of service operations from vehicle service reception to client vehicle re-unite.
- Awareness of dealership operations through the entire retail facility thoroughly, department to department
- Involves continually learning and improving customer service skills and interactions.
- Requires maintaining strong interdepartmental relationships.
- Involves being cross trained to various departments as fill-in help as needed.
- Requires filing, scanning and administrative office duties.
- Balancing the cash drawer
- Creating invoices and cashiering the invoices
- Responsible for processing and maintaining the extended warranty schedule.
- Receive and review warranty claims submitted by technicians and service advisors.
- Verify warranty coverage and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Enter warranty claims into the computer system and submit claims to the appropriate manufacturer.
- Track the status of warranty claims and follow up on outstanding claims.
