Duties
- Respond promptly to emergency calls for fire, flood, mold, asbestos, or storm damage restoration projects.
- Perform demolition tasks including debris removal, structure stripping, and site cleanup using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct water extraction, flood mitigation, and water damage restoration using specialized equipment.
- Execute fire restoration procedures such as soot removal and odor control while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with mold remediation and asbestos abatement following industry standards and safety guidelines.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site transportation of personnel and equipment.
- Apply personal protective equipment (PPE) including respiratory protection during hazardous material handling.
- Maintain a clean work environment by performing detailed cleaning tasks like carpet cleaning and surface sanitation.
- Follow all safety protocols diligently to ensure personal safety and that of team members during demolition and restoration activities.
- Support clients with professional customer service, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns with empathy.
Experience
- Prior construction experience or hands-on work with power tools, hand tools, or demolition equipment is preferred.
- Experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as water damage, fire damage, or storm recovery is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of safety procedures including respiratory protection use, PPE protocols, and hazardous material handling is essential.
- Ability to work on-call for emergency response coverage at any time day or night is necessary.
- Strong customer service skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and teamwork are highly valued.
