- Assist customers in selecting products, offering product demos and upselling when appropriate
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing products, and ensuring the sales floor remains tidy and inviting
- Use strong communication skills to answer customer inquiries via phone etiquette or in person, ensuring clarity and professionalism
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling better service to diverse customer bases
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, retail math calculations, and POS operations
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for team collaboration
