What You’ll Do:
As an Overnight Retail Specialist, you are key to maintaining Snappy’s legendary guest service and are responsible for having the location ready for daily operations. These objectives are obtained by conducting friendly and efficient customer transactions, performing daily cleaning and organizing, upholding safety standards, and fulfilling other general duties as assigned.
Your mission:
- Deliver Legendary Service: Greet guests with a smile and provide the top-notch service Snappy’s is known for, even during late-night hours.
- Stay Safe and Clean: Complete daily cleaning checklists. Follow safety procedures. Know and implement Snappy’s Playbook procedures for store maintenance (i.e., cleaning responsibilities).
- Stock and Organize: Keep all coolers, shelves, and displays always stocked and fronted with the correct merchandise.
- Ensure Product Freshness: Rotate and date all inventory on the floor and in storage rooms. Rotate stock in coolers so that the newest product is nearest you and remove any out-of-date stock. Move inventory from slower-moving to faster-moving shelves to ensure all products are within their date range.
- Maintain Beverage Areas: Always keep the hot beverage area clean and stocked: coffee, tea, hot chocolate, serving utensils, etc.
- Maintain Security: Be alert to the shoplifting prevention procedures. Safeguard your cash register login (Point of Sale, POS), only one person can operate a cash register at a time with their assigned POS, no exceptions. Follow the correct vendor check-in procedures.

Qualifications
To thrive as a Retail Specialist, you’ll bring the following to the table:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person!
- Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while maintaining quality.
- Attitude: A positive, team-oriented mindset with a focus on providing legendary customer service every shift.
