About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to serve as the primary estimating resource for a growing construction business. This individual will play a key role in developing accurate project estimates, evaluating project opportunities, and helping build scalable estimating processes that support long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate project estimates.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and contingency pricing.
- Prepare detailed proposals, scopes of work, assumptions, exclusions, and bid documentation.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
- Collaborate with operations, project management, and leadership teams to validate pricing, constructability, and project risks.
- Support value engineering initiatives and preconstruction planning efforts.
- Develop and maintain estimating templates, cost databases, and standardized processes.
- Analyze historical project data to improve estimating accuracy and forecasting.
- Participate in project turnover meetings to ensure seamless handoff to operations teams.
Qualifications
- 5 years of estimating, project management, preconstruction, or construction operations experience.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of construction costs, labor productivity, subcontractor management, and project risk.
- Experience with Excel, Bluebeam, and estimating/takeoff software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Process-oriented mindset with a desire to improve systems and drive efficiency.
