SnapCare is seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide PRN night‑shift coverage at Select Specialty Hospital – Tulsa Midtown. This role supports patients recovering from critical illness in a long‑term acute care and rehabilitation setting.
The Respiratory Therapist will provide advanced respiratory care, manage ventilator support, perform diagnostics, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care. This is an excellent opportunity for RTs seeking flexible PRN scheduling in a specialized, high‑acuity environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
- Current BLS certification
- RRT credential required
- Active state license as required
- Strong knowledge of invasive and non‑invasive ventilation
- Ability to perform airway management and respiratory procedures
- Excellent communication and critical‑thinking skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform respiratory assessments and implement individualized treatment plans
- Administer ventilator support, oxygen therapy, and respiratory medications
- Perform airway management including suctioning and tracheostomy care
- Conduct diagnostics such as ABGs, oximetry, capnography, and pulmonary function testing
- Assist with procedures such as bronchoscopy and tracheostomy care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
