What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Technician position at SnapCab?
We’re on the lookout for a hands-on, detail-driven, and process-oriented Production Technician to join our fast-paced production team. If you thrive on working in a team environment, using your hands, solving real-time challenges, and being a key player in creating something amazing—we want to meet you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manufacture interior elevators
- Use power tools and tape measure on a daily basis
- Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment and systems
- Lifting approximately 40 pounds, on feet all day, moving
- Operating press line, working on cells where assembly cab interiors from start to finish
- Collaborate with different areas in the shop
- Follow safety, quality, and process standards
- Learn and practice Lean manufacturing to implement continuous improvement processes and identify opportunities
- Work in fear-free culture- look at process not person
What You Bring to the Table:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment is a plus. We are willing to train those with no experience.
- Strong mechanical or technical aptitude
- Process improvement mindset
- Experience with power tools and machinery
- A proactive mindset and the ability to think on your feet
- Willingness to learn and improve
- Passion for teamwork and pride in precision
- Desire to work with their hands and be physically active
