What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Cashier position at SNAP Parking LLC?

We are looking for a Cashier who will deliver the company’s standards of customer service with each transaction while maintaining an acceptable flow of traffic in and out of the parking facility. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who can help us increase customer satisfaction through exceptional service, making sure clients depend on us for their transportation needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Issues tickets to customers, recording the required information on each ticket.
- Multitask effectively with a few systems that must be kept updated.
- Collects payment either through cash, credit card or validation always securing cash according to the company’s standard operating procedures.
- Provides the correct change for cash transactions and issue a receipt for all fee transactions.
- Keeps an organized system for parking and pulling cars.
- Directs operations on the ground-level, communicating constantly with drivers and valets.
- Completes the daily shift paperwork and promptly reports issues to supervisor.
- Maintains a neat and orderly work area at all times, free of debris and trash with clean windows void of unapproved company posters or decorative hangings.
- Provides the company’s standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues and thanking each customer upon exit.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working at a parking and/or valet company is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Flexibility, teamwork, and work ethic are essential.
- Ability to multitask and take responsibility.
- Valid driver's license.
Pay: $16/hour Tips
Schedule: This position will be for the morning shifts (6:00AM to 2:30PM) on week days. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule in case there is a need for coverage on other days.
