Job Description
The ideal Contracts Manager candidate has a diverse background in professional services contracts administration and compliance and a comprehensive knowledge of pricing, contracting, and business management. This individual has in-depth knowledge of FAR/DFAR and other applicable government regulations. Must be able to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Review all contract/task order documents and ensure requirements are tracked for
compliance.Review terms and conditions of customer contracts and negotiate exceptions to ensure
compliance with standard terms and conditions of company.Monitor purchase orders as required to provide status updates.
Provide guidance and direction to company personnel on contractual matters as needed.
Execute teaming agreements and non-disclosure agreements in accordance with company
policy.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Administration or related field
- 8 years contracts management industry experience (prime and subcontracting) with Federal Agency/DoD customers.
- Background in administration/contracts
- Outstanding computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Outstanding verbal and written skills
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and other applicable Government regulations
- Knowledge of SCA Labor Act
- Must possess or be eligible for a DOD Secret Clearance (minimum)
- Occasional travel may be required to company offices or customer sites
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years of FSO experience
- Knowledge of the NISPOM including the upcoming Insider Threat requirements
