SnapHook Foundation is seeking a motivated student to support marketing, social media, and event promotion through tournament season. This is a strong opportunity for a college freshman or sophomore looking to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing, community engagement, event promotion, and brand-building.
The Fellow will work closely with leadership to help grow awareness, support sponsor visibility, and assist with content and event execution leading up to our summer tournament.

SnapHook Foundation is a Dallas-based nonprofit focused on building community and creating impact through events, partnerships, and fundraising initiatives.
Role Overview
This is a volunteer student fellowship intended for someone who is organized, creative, responsive, and comfortable taking initiative. The ideal candidate is active on social media, has a good eye for content, and is excited to contribute to a growing nonprofit in a meaningful way.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Instagram and other social media content creation and posting
- Help develop content ideas for event promotion, sponsor recognition, and community engagement
- Support creation of flyers, simple graphics, and promotional materials
- Assist with sponsor-facing materials and outreach support as needed
- Help maintain a content calendar and posting schedule
- Capture content during events, meetings, or activations when applicable
- Provide ad-hoc support on marketing, event logistics, and small problem-solving tasks
- Assist with tournament promotion leading up to event day
Who Should Apply
- Freshman or sophomore in college preferred
- Exceptional high school seniors with strong social media, design, or content experience are also encouraged to apply
- Interest in marketing, communications, business, media, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, or other social platforms
- Comfortable using Canva, CapCut, or similar content tools
- Organized, dependable, and proactive
- Interested in nonprofit work, events, branding, and community engagement
- Based in Dallas preferred

Time Commitment

- Approximately 5 hours per week on average, with occasional heavier weeks closer to event dates
- Flexible schedule, with occasional in-person support preferred during tournament season
Honorarium
This is a volunteer student fellowship role. A $300 end-of-term honorarium will be provided in recognition of the Fellow’s contribution through tournament season.
