Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly, professional demeanor, providing a positive first impression of the property
- Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries, and direct calls with excellent phone etiquette
- Check guests in and out efficiently, handling reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences
- Handle guest requests promptly, resolving issues with a proactive and courteous approach
- Maintain accurate records of guest stays, billing details, and special requests using hotel management software
- Support night audit procedures when applicable, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and balanced
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a welcoming attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is highly desirable to assist diverse guest populations
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and basic computer skills for reservation management
