Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Systems Analyst to join our team and support the ongoing optimization, enhancement, and maintenance of our Workday ecosystem. How you’ll make an impact:
System Configuration & Support
- Gather and document business requirements while educating clients on Workday functionality as it relates to HR activities
- Configure, test, document, and deploy enhancements across multiple Workday modules
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
- Serve as the first point of contact for Workday-related inquiries, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Configure and maintain Workday business processes, condition rules, validations, notifications, and approval workflows.
- Design, test, and deploy Workday configuration changes across HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits, Security, and Talent modules.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Manage Workday releases, feature adoption, regression testing, and change management activities.
- Maintain data integrity through audits, exception reporting, and proactive monitoring.
- Administer and maintain Workday security roles, domains, business process security policies, and segregation-of-duty controls.
- Conduct periodic security audits and partner with Compliance and IT to ensure appropriate access governance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues impacting users and business processes.
- Maintain and optimize workflows and business processes in:
- Core HCM and Compensation (including Advanced Compensation cycles)
- Payroll and Time Tracking
- Recruiting and Onboarding
- Absence and Benefits
- Security (role-based access and audits)
- Talent, Performance, and Adaptive Learning
- Lead and support cross-functional Workday projects, including new module rollouts and system upgrades
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and Compliance teams to understand current processes and future-state requirements and ensure Workday meets business and regulatory needs
- Assist with integrations, data conversions, and report development as needed
- Support and troubleshoot inbound and outbound Workday integrations.
- Partner with IT and third-party vendors to maintain system connectivity and data accuracy.
- Utilize EIBs, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Web Services knowledge to support business needs.
- Execute mass data updates, conversions, and data validation activities.
- Advanced experience building custom reports, matrix reports, composite reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
- Experience supporting audit, compliance, payroll, compensation, and workforce planning reporting needs
- Create and maintain user guides, process documentation, and SOPs
- Provide training and support to end users to increase adoption and proficiency
- 5 years of Workday administration and configuration experience.
- Deep configuration expertise in Core HCM plus at least 3 additional Workday functional areas.
- Demonstrated experience leading Workday implementations, optimizations, or major enhancement projects.

- Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred
