What You’ll Do
- Install, program, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and control issues in mixers, conveyors, fillers, and packaging machines
- Modify control logic to drive process improvements and equipment upgrades
- Calibrate sensors (temperature, pressure, flow, weight, level) to ensure accuracy
- Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, SQF, and HACCP standards
- Diagnose and repair automation faults quickly to minimize downtime
- Partner with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize performance
- Keep detailed records of calibrations, changes, and equipment performance
- Uphold strict safety, quality, and food hygiene standards
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, or related field preferred
- Hands-on experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMIs, and control wiring
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and GMPs
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Analytical problem-solving skills and a knack for troubleshooting
