What You’ll Do
As a Packaging Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly and ensuring our products meet the highest standards. Your day-to-day will include:
- Starting, monitoring, and shutting down packaging machines.
- Performing minor repairs and reporting issues when needed.
- Inspecting packaging for accuracy, seal integrity, and proper weight.
- Preparing machines for scheduled changeovers with the right materials and settings.
- Keeping your work area clean and supporting coworkers when needed.
- Completing production paperwork accurately at the end of each shift.
- Assisting with packing duties when machines are offline.
- Using your mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and keep equipment running efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (assistance provided if needed).
- Experience operating packaging equipment preferred, but we’ll train the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Basic math skills for everyday operations.
- Problem-solving mindset—able to recognize when equipment isn’t working properly.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift during 8–12 hour shifts.
- Willingness to work in a food manufacturing environment.
