Job Summary
Snackruptors USA Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused Production Lead to join our manufacturing team in Mountville, PA.
The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing daily production line operations to maximize efficiency, safety, quality, and productivity. This position operates and coordinates sophisticated manufacturing equipment, monitors production processes, ensures food safety and quality standards are met, and provides leadership and direction to employees working on the production line.
The Production Lead serves as a key communication link between Production, Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Leadership teams to ensure operational goals are achieved while maintaining a safe and positive work environment.
This role is critical to supporting continuous improvement initiatives, employee development, production performance, and operational excellence within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Available shifts may include:
- 3rd Shift 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Additional overtime, weekends, holidays, or schedule adjustments may be required based on business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Production Operations
- Oversee daily production line activities to ensure safe, efficient, and productive operations.
- Conduct and document pre-operational safety, sanitation, quality, and equipment inspections.
- Complete and maintain required production documentation, including:
- Pre-Operational Inspection Forms
- Post-Operational Inspection Forms
- HACCP Documentation (where applicable)
- Production Reports
- Shift Handoff Documentation
- Monitor production processes and equipment performance to ensure centerline standards are maintained.
- Conduct process audits and verify compliance with operational standards including:
- Slice Thickness Audits
- Fryer Setpoint Centerlines
- Equipment Performance Checks
- Ensure raw materials and packaging supplies are available and properly staged for production.
- Communicate inventory shortages, material discrepancies, or operational concerns to Production Leadership.
- Coordinate line changeovers in accordance with established production schedules and changeover matrices.
- Support sanitation and fryer boil-out activities when required.
- Maintain clean and organized production areas following housekeeping and 5S standards.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste materials, cardboard, and feed buckets throughout the shift.
Leadership & Employee Development
- Provide daily direction and support to production team members.
- Train employees on job functions, equipment operation, food safety, and production procedures.
- Coach employees on performance improvement opportunities while maintaining positive employee morale.
- Encourage employee engagement and continuous improvement ideas.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.
- Support employee development through ongoing training and performance feedback.
Quality, Food Safety & Compliance
- Partner with Quality Assurance personnel to ensure products meet all specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor production processes to identify and correct deviations from established standards.
- Report food safety, quality, or regulatory concerns immediately.
- Initiate corrective actions when necessary to protect product quality and consumer safety.
Continuous Improvement
- Continuously evaluate production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower operating costs.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and productivity enhancements.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Equipment & Maintenance Coordination
- Monitor equipment performance and operational effectiveness.
- Utilize maintenance work request systems to report equipment concerns.
- Coordinate with Maintenance personnel to resolve operational issues.
- Assist with troubleshooting production equipment when appropriate.
- Possess authority to stop production or shut down equipment when safety, quality, or operational concerns exist.
Communication & Reporting
- Conduct effective shift handoff meetings.
- Communicate production performance, downtime events, quality concerns, and operational issues to incoming shifts and leadership.
- Complete end-of-shift reports and distribute required information to leadership teams.
- Maintain effective communication with Production Supervisors, Managers, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and other departments.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing leadership experience preferred.
- Proven commitment to workplace safety.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Understanding of food manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) environments.
- Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMP, and food safety programs.
- Experience with manufacturing reporting systems and production metrics.
- Previous experience leading teams in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
