We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our therapy team in our skilled nursing facility. This is a fantastic leadership opportunity for a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) with strong clinical and supervisory experience in a SNF setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all daily operations of the Rehabilitation Department
- Supervise, mentor, and support the therapy team
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and facility regulatory and clinical standards
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
- Track clinical outcomes and continuously improve service quality
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete required reporting in a timely manner
- Participate in staff training, development, and performance management
Qualifications:
- Active state license as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in rehabilitation (strongly preferred)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of rehabilitation regulations, Medicare guidelines, and current best practices
