Job Summary
We are seeking a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our skilled nursing facility Therapy Department. As the DOR, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of rehabilitation services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes exceptional patient care and operational excellence.
Duties
- Implement strategic plans to optimize rehabilitation service delivery, aligning with organizational goals and industry standards.
- Supervise and mentor multidisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Manage medical records, documentation processes, and health record to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with medical management teams to develop treatment protocols, utilization management strategies, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain strong relationships to facilitate seamless patient care coordination.
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience in skilled nursing facility.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to foster a positive team environment while driving operational excellence in a fast-paced setting.
