As a Concrete Pump Operator at SRM Concrete, your mission is to ensure the safe, efficient, and precise delivery of concrete to our valued customers. You will:
- Operate and maintain concrete pump trucks, ensuring safe setup and accurate delivery of concrete to construction sites
- Collaborate with site teams to expertly fill forms, columns, walls, and floors according to project specifications
- Perform regular maintenance checks and minor repairs on pump trucks and related equipment to maximize uptime and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues on-site, keeping projects on schedule
- Follow all safety regulations and best practices for concrete pumping and construction site operations
- Maintain detailed records of daily operations, including delivery volumes, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents
- Coordinate with construction managers and crews to optimize pour schedules and address any concerns
- Mentor and support new team members, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and excellence
- Proven experience as a Concrete Pump Operator or similar role in the construction industry
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Strong understanding of concrete properties, pump truck mechanics, and preventive maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Effective communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
