Dental Assistant Chairside
We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant with at least 5 years of chairside experience to provide top-quality care and support to our patients and dentists. Our ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a patient-centered environment.
Requirements:
- Available to work 4 days/10 hour day. Mon-Thursday
- Minimum 5 years of chairside experience
- Knowledgeable in dental terminology, procedures, and patient care
- Exceptional communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
- Experience with dental software is a plus
- Willingness to cross-train for front office tasks to assist in areas where additional support is needed.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting the dentist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficiency
- Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Taking and processing X-rays and digital scans
- Managing patient records and updating treatment plans
- Educating patients on oral care and post-procedure instructions
- Assisting with inventory control and ordering supplies
- Ensuring a clean and organized operatory
- Collaborating with team members for smooth daily operations
- Confirming patient appointments.
- Quickly confirming insurance information on dental software.
- Calling patients for additional documents needed.
- Providing overall assistance to the front office with check-in and check-out when needed.
- Providing assistance to the front office with scheduling, patient check-ins, and other administrative tasks.
