What are the responsibilities and job description for the Army Support Consultant (5146) position at SMX?
Responsibilities
- Create and provide guidance to the Command on modernization initiatives
- Support operational and business process enhancements for the organization including system sustainment, analysis and architecting business processes
- Independently facilitate workshops, meetings and training
- Participate in business case development by identifying various courses of action and the impacts of alternative solutions
- In support of larger client projects and initiatives provide recommendations to client leadership and other cross-organizational management
- Validate of current business processes used to deliver capabilities
Required Skills and Experience
- Ability to be on-site at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia; a hybrid schedule currently exists, but is not guaranteed
- Active Top Secret security clearance is required
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organization skills
- Enthusiasm for collaboration within a cross-functional team in a rapidly changing mission-oriented work environment
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience using GFEBS or GFEBS-SA
- Customer-serving personality and support for the mission
Desired Skills & Experience
- Use of modernized Microsoft applications (e.g. PowerBi, PowerApps, etc.)
- Knowledge of the Army financial systems and processes strongly preferred
