Our client is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in a high-speed manufacturing environment. This role will oversee a team, drive equipment reliability, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong electrical experience, exposure to blow molding, and the ability to lead both people and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians (approx. 5 direct reports)
- Drive equipment reliability through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Reduce downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
- Own and improve PM programs and maintenance systems (CMMS)
- Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions
- Manage maintenance budget and align with operational goals
- Oversee and execute capital and continuous improvement projects
- Partner with engineering, operations, and external vendors for technical support
- Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and regulatory standards
- Support automation and controls troubleshooting, including PLC systems
- Communicate effectively across production, leadership, and technical teams
Qualifications:
- 10 years of maintenance experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
- 5 years of leadership experience managing maintenance teams
- Strong electrical background with ability to troubleshoot industrial systems
- Experience with blow molding required
- Experience in food, beverage or regulated manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance, reliability, and root cause analysis
- Experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred)
- Experience with CMMS systems (SAP or similar)
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and improve performance
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
