Additional job duties and miscellaneous projects as assigned by management.

How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock
- Facilitate the onboarding process to achieve level 1 certification before employee goes to the production floor.
- Coordinate and/or facilitate training program outlined with in C-Pro/Element Tree for each position. Training will consist of classroom, on the job training, outside or vendor training and shadowing.
- Assist in writing and updating Standard Operation Procedures (SOP); i.e. work instructions, Reference Guides, etc.
- Conduct daily audits for certification within the frame work set forth in the Conover Management System.
- Give monthly reports/report cards to managers and T&D leader on employee progress.
- Liaison for manager driven process changes and SOP’s, perform audits for new process before adding to element tree.
- Ensure technical resources, training materials and supplies are available.
- Track training progress and follow up with trainees to keep them on track, ensure completion of training programs in a timely, productive manner.
- Maintain employee training records within the C-Pro system.
- Maintain and update all required employee paperwork, including filing training certifications and all other training documentation.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in handling employee information.
- Work closely and efficiently with all departments.
- Work proactively to promote teamwork at all levels of the company.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules, security procedures and instructions.
- Perform all duties according to established safety policy, including wearing all required PPEs to perform duties.
- Work flexible hours and overtime, as necessary, to meet the training needs of all shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management or Training and Development.
- Expected to be an active member on a Performance Excellence team.
- Strong attention to detail; organizational and record keeping skills.
- Able to handle multiple projects and priorities in a professional and timely manner.

- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
