GENERAL PURPOSE: Responsible for spotting truck loads and unloads for operators in the plant in a timely and safe manner.

GENERAL PURPOSE: Responsible for spotting truck loads and unloads for operators in the plant in a timely and safe manner.
Essential Job Functions
- Compliance with WestRock safety rules.
- Knowledge of and compliance with OSHA/DOT regulations.
- Perform preventative maintenance according to company PM system and manufacturer’s specifications.
- Troubleshoot issues with spotter truck and maintain organization in trailer yard
- Identify inbound/outbound customers
- Maintain trailer yard inventory
- Source out contractor assistance
- Safely back trailers in at tight angles.
- Attend daily shift meeting to prioritize and daily tasks and minimize down time.
- Actively participate in plant safety programs and trainings.
- Maintain a safe a clean work area at all times.
- Perform after hour live loads with correct release numbers and weights.
- Make safety a priority at all times.
- High school diploma or G.E.D preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years DOT Class A Licenses
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Alert, focused and detail oriented.
- Physically and mentally fit.
- Must have ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures and equipment manuals.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to maintain good attendance.
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
