How You Will Impact Smurfit WestRock
- Assemble corrugated boxes and pack finished products for shipment in accordance with specifications.
- Verify job specifications against materials being used to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Load cartons into machine feeds while maintaining proper stack height and orientation.
- Change and move pallets or loads using appropriate equipment.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet required quality standards before shipment.
- Complete and maintain required production and quality documentation.
- Support machine operators in maintaining consistent production output and product quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow instructions from supervisors, operators, and team leads to support operational needs.
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours during a shift.
- Ability to use hands for grasping, pushing, and pulling tasks.
- Ability to safely operate a hand-operated pallet jack.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with printed materials and packaging quality.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-performance environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as bending, twisting, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, ear protection, hair nets, and steel-toed shoes.
