Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned finishing equipment safely and efficiently to meet production, quality, and performance expectations.
- Perform machine setup, make-ready activities, and routine preventive maintenance to support reliable equipment operation.
- Conduct quality inspections on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with customer and company specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S standards, safety requirements, and housekeeping expectations.
- Support food packaging safety, quality, continuous improvement, training, and corrective action initiatives throughout the department.
- Follow all company policies and procedures and promptly communicate safety or quality concerns to management.
- Assist with additional operational duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read, understand, and apply information from instruction manuals, procedure manuals, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
