Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a diverse selection of drinks, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations based on preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of beverage recipes, new trends, and product offerings to enhance guest satisfaction and sales.
- Operate POS system for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions with precision.
- Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste through proper storage and handling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to support bar management duties, including setup, cleanup, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or upscale hospitality settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail crafting techniques, wine varieties, brewing processes, and craft beer experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods seamlessly.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and food industry knowledge.
- Experience with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
