Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments with openTable or similar reservation systems
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving concerns professionally
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless restaurant operations during busy nights or nightclub events
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience in a food service environment, preferably in fine dining or nightlife settings
- Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Experience in food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures aligned with industry standards
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking across serving, bussing, and cashiering duties
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing; familiarity with food industry terminology is advantageous
- Prior host/hostess or serving experience in nightlife venues or nightclubs is desirable
